To understand the differences in nephrotic syndrome treatment across Canada
To understand the effect of differences in treatment in terms of steroid exposure and relapse rates
To develop standardized treatments for nephrotic syndrome

Our Steps

Recruit children presenting with nephrotic syndrome from all pediatric nephrology centres in Canada
Collect information on disease course, treatments and other clinical data
Analyze data to determine what factors are driving variability in treatment and to determine if variation affects the clinical course of patients
Develop standardized treatments to treat childhood nephrotic syndrome which can be adopted across Canada
